SOCIAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT

For over five years, it has been my duty to concept, write copy for, schedule, reply to comments and report back to clients on social media posts. Not just a few social posts. Not just a few brands.

Since I started as a Content Manager, I’ve created 6-20 posts per brand, per month, across over 20 brands on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. I typically managed between six and ten brands at any one time.

While I would love to endlessly tout my copy skills as some sort of natural talent, much of it came from untold hours cutting my teeth with 3-5 copy line options per post for what I am estimating to be anywhere between 4,000 and 6,500 total social posts. Hey, I’m in marketing, not mathematics.

A significant majority of these posts are for brands that fall under General Cigar and Lane Tobacco Group which, for platform regulation reasons, cannot create paid ads.

For these brands alone, the social content concepted and managed by me, but created in collaboration with a superb team of designers has accrued over:

  • 374,000 organic followers

  • 2.4M organic engagements

  • 6.2M organic impressions
